Wedding Management App
A full-stack application built to manage my wedding, bringing invitations, RSVPs, guest seating, and photo sharing together in one place.

The problem
I wanted one application to handle wedding-related information, invitations, RSVPs, seating arrangements and photo sharing — rather than stitching together generic third-party tools. I built it myself, full-stack, and used it to run the actual event: real guests signed in, RSVP'd and found their seats through it.
Core functionality
Authentication
Guests and administrators signed in through NextAuth, with Google as the provider.
Invitations & RSVPs
Guests received invitations and could RSVP through the app.
Guest seating
Guests could search for their own name to find their assigned table.

Guest seating interface, allowing attendees to find their assigned table by name. Information & protocol
Informações and Protocolo sections gave guests event details and practical information in one place.
Photos
A Fotos and Galeria area let guests view and contribute photos from the event.
Administration
An administration area let me manage guests and send updates using the contact details collected at sign-in.
Authentication challenge
One of the key implementation considerations was supporting authentication for both guests and administrators. Guest sign-in made it possible to identify attendees, retain their contact information, and communicate important wedding updates.
Technology decisions
I chose Next.js, MongoDB and NextAuth mainly because I wanted hands-on experience with that combination. The Wedding Management App was a real app I used to run my own wedding, and at the same time a practical opportunity to learn by building something real rather than a tutorial project.
Outcome
The app ran my actual wedding: guests used it to RSVP, find their seats and share photos. Beyond the event itself, it gave me hands-on, full-stack experience with Next.js, MongoDB and NextAuth.
